A great interview with Zephyr on his involvement with the Wild Style Title Sequence.  It’s great to hear his perspective on Graffiti.  He talks about how graffiti preceded hip hop  by 10 years and how certain writers like Blade and Pink reject the notion that Graffiti and hip hop are part of the same movement.

I don’t like getting involved in these discussions because I reject the notion that there are any rules or that there is a “real writer” prototype.  I think Zephyr does a good job of not taking sides or speaking for all writers too.
